Before the PPQ fashion show Natalie and I had a lot of time to kill so we hit Brick lane!
Yeah so I'm trying on sunglasses whilst still having my sunglasses on my head, just can't get enough of them!
This is the shop where I found a pretty darn cool dress! I'm really into long straight midi dresses styled up so it's no surprise I bought one, I love the oriental print! Brick lane definitely lives up to the hype, once you've passed all the indian restaurants you reach vintage paradise :)

I went to Paris last week so I'll be sharing lots of photos of what we did and found soon! There was quite a few cheap vintage shops where theres just piles of clothing to sort through at €1, so obviously I' bought loads! Everything just about squeezed into my hand luggage!
I went to a London fashion week show! :) I mentioned about it in my last post but just to re-cap, my friend Natalie Lines did a few illustrations for PPQ last season and managed to get two tickets to their S/S 13 show. The show was at quarter to 8 in the evening, so we spent the day shopping around London (which is going to be my next post). We got the 23:30 train back home, so it was one of those train journeys where you don't want to fall asleep but it's pretty impossible not to!

Celebrity spotting! I only managed to get a few pictures decent pictures, my camera kept playing up, but in the top Left is Laura Whitmore, below is a very blurry Jameela Jamil then in the bottom Right corner is Pandemonia being interviewed! Also Vv Brown, Jodie Harsh and Shingai Shoniwa graced the front row.
The photos I took of the show, only a few clear ones but further down is a video that I filmed of the show, it's the last half because I suddenly thought, hey I can film on my camera!
This shows the different stages of the show, the show opened with this far left photo, this print had this 60's psychedelic look, that was carried on through into a very sleek bouncy high ponytail, very reminiscent of the 1960's. We noticed after, that the print is on the back of the invitations! Next the white and blue stripes appeared ( Hm hmm like I'd predicted as a trend in my late post ;) then it faded out into bold chiffon little numbers that flowed so gracefully at the back as the models walked down.

For some reason I turn the camera around a few times from landscape to portrait so apologises for the awkward head tilt you'll be doing :)
GIFT BAGS
I managed to get a gift bag! Natalie and I split it the 2 eye palettes, 2 lip glosses, GHD sprays and fake tan. When I looked inside I couldn't believe how much was there, because on all the other seats apart from the two front rows was a bottle of mineral water so it's quite a step up!
I love the packaging! The lip gloss is nice but it really peels off when you're wearing it, but the eye shadows are pretty amazing! The colours are just as strong on your eyes, as they are in the palette.
This is just a little collection of how many things I picked up, and my business cards!! I feel professional now with them!
S/S 13 has finally started! New York fashion week began last Wednesday showcasing many designers, both upcoming and established big names; Zac Posen- the king of an evening gown showcased a collection littered with all the top models, Victoria Beckham- very wearable collection and I consider it to be her best collection to date, as well as Jason Wu- The man that never can go wrong with his uber feminine dresses! I have a few favourites from the week so far, Rag and Bone, Suno and Honor, from them I've chosen what I feel are a few of the key trends on the catwalk so far. I have noticed that the collections aren't so skimpy and have more layers in then usual.
London is just round the corner and I'm lucky enough to have been invited to PPQ's fashion show! The invitation was from a friend of mine, Natalie, who's a very talented illustrator and has just designed a cushion range which is definitely worth a check out for presents or if you want to jazz up your house! Below are a few trends I've noticed and my interpretation of them from my wardrobe:
MIX PIN-STRIPES
This trend is with the pin-stripes travelling horizontally and vertically on the same outfit, which is usually a no go area, but it can be subtle or bold, depending on how daring you feel! I decided to mix up the scale of the stripe and also the colour as below it's mostly blue and white. My aim was to have as many stripes going on as possible :)

WHITES EVERYWHERE
I know, it's ALWAYS going to be a summer trend and is a guarantee seller but it grabbed my eye as, a lot of the collections first looks were white. To me I find wearing white quite boring as I love bright prints and colour so it was hard to not throw colour in, I looked a little wedding-ey!

METALLIC/ETHIC
I've started to love metallics recently so I'm glad it's on the runways, but here they are more like shiny satins and silks so it isn't as metallic as the high street are currently doing however, it's a nice transition from the pretty brash Christmas tree fabrics. I have nothing really that metallic so I opted for a silk top with my Final Collection plastic skirt :)
Sorry I haven't blogged for a while, I've been so busy Ebaying, we've actually reached our monthly allowance which I thought we never would! I thought I'd share with you guys my new dress and hair! My sister dyed my hair for me, I was a little worried it would be a straight line of copper, if that makes any sense but I love how faded it looks and hopefully will be touched up before uni! This dress was found on my travels yesterday, it's a Wallis dress, a bit pricey for a charity shop at £7 but it's still really good for the price! It's one of those dresses that look nothing on the hanger but when it's on it totally transforms.
THE HAIR.
I saw this colour on the Superdrug shelf and thought THAT'S SO COOL! so I took the plunge and bought it, I now match my boyfriends red locks ;) I did think it probably wouldn't go as bright as the pack shows but it did! The dye looks like tikka masala sauce when it's mixed so it felt weird that it was on my hair, should have taken a photo! It's way better then the blonde though I think.
My 'Kate' necklace that I've had since I was little, I wear it even though the chains got a million knots in it as it's one of those really thin chains that you have to use tweezers to unravel! And I've had to kinda sew my own fastening on but it does the job and stays on :)
